Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties
Join Brewers Decorator Centres as a Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties at our Swansea store. This role combines excellent in‑store customer service with contactless delivery driving. No prior product knowledge required – we provide full training to the right candidate.
Location: Swansea, Wales
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota
Pay: £26,945 per annum plus pension and company benefits
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to customers inside the branch and on deliveries.
- Use product knowledge to recommend and advise on paints, wallpapers and decorating equipment.
- Make contactless deliveries within the local area using the company transit van.
- Mix paint, process specialist orders and request special stock within the branch network.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.
- Keep the warehouse organised and safe, adhering to company standards.
- Promote seasonal and special items, and assist with merchandising in‑store.
- Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Approachable, friendly personality and team‑oriented mindset.
- Independently reliable and able to work as an individual when required.
- Knowledge of the surrounding area preferred.
- Full, clean manual driving licence.
- Eagerness to learn, develop skills and progress within the industry.
- Previous retail experience or product knowledge an advantage but not essential.
