We have a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced Driver with Warehouse Duties to join the team at our Brewers Decorator Centre in Birkenhead. You will play a vital part in keeping our delivery service running smoothly and efficiently by making deliveries into our stores and to customers across the region. Conveniently located immediately off the A41 New Chester Road, near Green Lane train station and Cammell Laird shipyard. Our Birkenhead Decorating Centre carries an impressive range of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings and decorating materials and equipment. Our friendly and experienced team have a wealth of knowledge between them so if you are looking to expand your knowledge in our industry, you will be in the best place to do it. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am β 5pm and Saturday 8am β 5pm. Responsibilities
- Driving our Company transit van to make contactless multi drop deliveries across our branches in the North West region.
- Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the Warehouse.
- Keep our Warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards.
- Provide exceptional service to customers to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service.
- Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service.
- Assisting with stock maintenance and levels within the branch.
Qualifications
- A reliable driver with a valid licence who has experience driving a transit van and making multi drop deliveries.
- Experience driving professionally.
- Experience/knowledge of using a digital tachograph.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality β happy to help both customers and colleagues.
- Familiar with the local area.
- Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to always work as an individual.
- Keen to learn and develop skills.
