Hours: 20 hours per week over 5 days; Working hours: 11-3pm; Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota
Salary: £13,472 per annum plus pension and company benefits
We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Driver with Retail Sales Advisor Duties to join the team at our PaintWell store in Braintree. Providing exceptional service to our customers in branch, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly. Experience with our products isn’t necessary if you bring great customer service and team-working skills — we’ll provide the rest to help you succeed.
PaintWell is located on Century Drive, Braintree, and proudly serves local homeowners and trades people with decorating materials. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am – 5pm and Saturday 8.30am – 1pm. Brewers Decorator Centres are part of the Brewers Group, a family-owned business with over 120 years in the industry and more than 250 stores nationwide. Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
- Using product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
- Making contactless deliveries to customers in and around the local area driving our Company Transit van
- Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the branch network
- Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide a comprehensive service
- Keep our warehouse organised and safe, in line with company standards
- Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
- Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store
Who We Are Looking For
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
- Approachable, open and friendly personality — happy to help both customers and colleagues
- Enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently
- Familiar with the surrounding area
- Full clean manual driving licence
- Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry
- Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
