We are hiring a Vehicle Body Repairer/Sprayer to manage daily workshop tasks and coordinate repair and refinishing work for our team. The role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and service, ensuring both internal and external customers receive exceptional quality and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing estimates for vehicle repairs
  • Completing bodywork repairs and modifications to a high standard
  • Preparing and finishing paintwork on vehicles
  • Ensuring all workshop equipment is maintained and used effectively
  • Handling customer inquiries and providing accurate repair cost estimates
  • Keeping up to date with industry legislation, technologies and best practices
  • Completing all necessary documentation in line with workshop procedures
  • Valeting vehicles to ensure they are customer-ready
  • Booking and managing vehicle-related appointments such as MOTs
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met in the workshop
  • Delivering and collecting vehicles and materials as required

Qualifications:

  • Friendly and approachable with strong team spirit
  • Self-motivated, reliable and detail-oriented
  • Skilled at problem-solving and making cost-effective repair decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident working independently and taking initiative
  • Proficient in vehicle body repair and paint spraying techniques
  • Experience in a workshop environment, preferably with a time-served apprenticeship
