Join us as the driving force behind the North East of England region for Brewers, a thriving family-owned business with a rich history spanning more than 120 years. With 24 branches in the North East and a dedicated team of 130 colleagues, this is an opportunity to take the reins and lead the charge in expanding our legacy even further.
You will lead a critical region in our network of over 260 branches nationwide - stretching from Inverness to St Ives. As the Regional Manager, you will be instrumental in elevating the performance of the entire region, ensuring our continued success by championing exceptional customer service and operational excellence. With your strategic vision, you will help to cement our position as the largest independent decorators merchant in the country.
Your role will be pivotal in fostering enduring relationships with customers and suppliers, solidifying our position as a trusted partner in the industry. Your proficiency in managing multiple P&Ls and adept cost management skills will drive profitability, ensuring our continued success as the go-to destination for decorators.
As a Senior Leader in our business, you will be empowered to implement strategies invaluable to our continued market leadership and sustained growth. Collaborating closely with the Commercial Director, Sales Director and the Area Development Team within your region, as well as the wider sales team, you will be at the forefront of cultivating existing sales and fostering new customer connections.
By encouraging a collaborative environment, you will be instrumental in nurturing talent to ensure our business continues and evolves in the future. The North East region spans from Alnwick in Northumberland to Loughborough in Leicestershire. The Region also includes cities such as Lincoln, York, Newcastle and Nottingham. You will work closely with a Regional Operations Manager, who reports to you and will help you manage the region's day-to-day business.
With a significant level of autonomy, you can make a lasting impact, driving the business forward and implementing change. Your role will be fast-paced and varied, involving travel within the region and occasional presence at Albany House at Eastbourne and other locations.
