Experienced Curtain & Blind Fitters required Self Employed Competitive Daily Rate.

Brewers are the UK’s leading independent Decorator’s Centres, currently trading from a network of over 200 stores nationwide. Due to the continued demand for our Made to Measure services, we have opportunities for self-employed Fitters servicing our branches in Putney, Surbiton, Redhill, Croydon, and Bromley.

Providing practical support to our Showroom teams, you will demonstrate the skills and expertise required to deliver a high standard of service surveying and installing our range of bespoke Made to Measure products, including curtains, blinds, and shutters, in Brewers customers’ homes. We take great pride in our work and it’s our aim to ensure that we only deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction with the service to enable us to continue to support our customers and Brewers’ reputation of being the first choice for all home decorating!

As a Brewers’ Fitter you will support our Showroom teams by:

  • Visiting customers’ homes to provide accurate measurements to be used to produce bespoke curtains, blinds, curtain tracks, and curtain poles.
  • Visiting Brewers branches and liaising with store colleagues to check information and provide feedback.
  • Completing forms in detail with measurements and sketches where necessary.
  • Installing bespoke products to customers’ requirements.
  • Liaising with our Measure & Fit department on the progress of projects and any further requirements.
  • Representing Brewers in customers’ homes, delivering the high standard of customer service we’re known for.

Who we are looking for:

  • Previous expertise and experience in measuring and fitting blinds, curtains, curtain tracks and poles, and shutters.
  • Friendly and professional manner with excellent customer service skills.
  • Solutions orientated.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Own appropriate vehicle and tools to complete orders.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Computer proficient - ability to use computers to submit order details.
  • Own Public Liability Insurance.
