Are you a data driven supply chain professional who enjoys turning insight into action? We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team based in Eastbourne, East Sussex and play a key role in improving availability, performance and profitability across the business.

Working closely with our Category, Commercial and Regional teams, you will provide high quality analysis, reporting and insight to support smarter decision making across stock, forecasting, supplier performance and product lifecycle management. This can be a hybrid role that will require you to attend at least two days per week at our Head Office in Eastbourne as well as some travel to other sites.

What does the role of Supply Chain Analyst involve?

  • Analysing stock, availability and supply chain performance to improve on shelf availability across branches and distribution centres
  • Supporting demand forecasting and supply planning in collaboration with Commercial and Sales teams
  • Identifying opportunities to optimise stock holding, availability and cost control
  • Managing supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs, including lead times and OTIF
  • Supporting product launches, discontinuations and lifecycle planning
  • Producing accurate and timely stock and performance reports using available data and systems
  • Supporting promotions, bulk purchases, stocktakes and continuous improvement projects
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the business

You will be required to work some of your week from our offices in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Who we are looking for to join the team:

  • Previous experience and a strong understanding of supply chain processes within a retail environment
  • Experience working in a highly data driven role with excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems and product data
  • Highly numerate, analytical and able to translate complex data into clear insight
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Well organised, self‑motivated and able to manage competing priorities
  • Embraces technology and supports change within the business
  • Understands the importance of working in a team and positively contributes towards a team environment
  • Lives within a commutable distance to our office in Eastbourne, East Sussex
