We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor with Driving Duties to join our PaintWell store in Stafford. You will provide exceptional service to our customers, helping the branch run smoothly. Experience with our products is not required – we will give you all the training you need.

Our Stafford PaintWell store, located on Nursery Lane, serves local homeowners and tradespeople with an extensive range of decorating materials, trade and designer paints from many brands, and all the supplies needed to complete home décor projects. Part of the Brewers Group, PaintWell is dedicated to delivering high‑quality products and expert advice to all customers.

The branch opens Monday to Friday 7.00 am – 5.00 pm and Saturday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm. Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch, upholding the Brewers reputation for quality service.
  • Use product knowledge to recommend solutions and help customers find the best products for their needs.
  • Make contactless deliveries to customers locally in the company transit van.
  • Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the branch network.
  • Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide comprehensive service.
  • Keep the warehouse organised and safe, following company standards.
  • Promote seasonal and special items and merchandise goods in‑store to increase visibility and sales.
  • Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, able to translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
  • Approachable with an open, friendly personality – enthusiastic about helping customers and colleagues.
  • Enjoys working in a team but can also work independently.
  • Familiar with the surrounding area.
  • Full clean manual driving licence.
  • Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.
  • Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
