We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join our Wallpaperdirect Customer Service Team based at our Maple Road offices in Eastbourne. Supporting customers with a wide variety of enquiries via phone and email, this role plays a vital part in providing the first class service our customers expect when contacting Wallpaperdirect about their orders, product selections or design project enquiries.
Wallpaperdirect has been selling wallcoverings online for almost 20 years and with access to over 11,000 different wallcoverings and a stock of over 4,000, we are able to offer our customers an extremely varied choice. What does the role of a Customer Service Assistant include:
- Ensuring that all customer enquiries and questions received via email are logged and responded to promptly and efficiently
- Engaging with customers on the phone, ensuring all phone calls are handled efficiently and professionally
- Acting as an initial point of contact for customer complaints, recording them and endeavouring to resolve or escalate as appropriate
- Supporting with any delivery issues, including border or export queries
- Establishing good relationships with customers and the operational departments within the business
Who we are looking for to join our team:
- Previous experience where Customer Service or Customer Service Support has been a key focus
- Confident communicator with people at all levels, able to demonstrate excellent people skills, a professional telephone manner and diplomacy skills
- Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality with a willingness to help
- Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can be relied upon to always work as an individual
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Can work quickly, and accurately with a positive approach
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and outlook with a willingness to learn new technologies and software
- Keen to learn and develop skills
