We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing & Ecommerce Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team based at our Head Office, Albany House in central Eastbourne. Working closely with our Marketing team, this role will be vital in helping to shape smarter, data-driven decisions. In this role, you will turn complex data into clear insights to help us understand what’s working, optimise our marketing investment and drive growth across our digital channels. From campaign performance to ecommerce trends, your analysis will play a key part in improving how we attract, engage and retain customers. You will be part of a collaborative team where your insights directly shape decision making and performance. As a Marketing & Ecommerce Analyst, some responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining dashboards to track key marketing and ecommerce metrics such as traffic, conversion, sales and ROI
  • Analysing performance data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Supporting marketing teams with insights to optimise campaigns, targeting and channel performance
  • Helping develop ‘test and learn’ approaches to continuously improve results
  • Applying attribution models to better understand the impact of marketing activity
  • Working collaboratively across Marketing and Commercial teams to align performance reporting
  • Supporting forecasting, budgeting and performance planning through data analysis
  • Presenting insights clearly to support informed business decisions

Who we are looking for to join our team:

  • Experience in a Marketing or Ecommerce role where creating digital analytics for strategy planning is a key focus along with a strong understanding of ecommerce and marketing metrics (e.g. ROAS, CAC, CTR)
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to turn insight into action and confidence working with large datasets and complex information
  • Experience creating dashboards (Power BI or similar) and working with tools such as GA4 and Python and/or SQL
  • An analytical, curious and detail-focused individual who is proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused
  • A confident communicator who can explain data clearly, has a collaborative approach and who is able to influence different stakeholders
  • Strong Excel experience with the ability to produce accurate reports and spreadsheets
