Our client is an instantly recognisable FTSE 100 business searching for a UK Tax Manager to join the in-house tax team in London.
This successful business has an extensive global presence across EMEIA, Asia Pacific, and Americas. As the UK Tax Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager and the Group Tax Director. You will be supported by a UK Tax Accountant and you will take an active role in mentoring them. A few of your responsibilities include:
- Preparation and delivery of the Group’s year end and interim tax reporting process at year end and half year
- Review and sign off of the Group’s year end and interim local overseas tax submissions
- Delivery of the Group’s outsourced global corporation tax return compliance cycle, ultimately ensuring all returns are accurate and filed on a timely basis
- Delivery of UK tax compliance, including review and submission (prepared inhouse by UK Tax Accountant)
- Support with Pillar 2 compliance obligations and modelling
- Liaise on tax matters with local external auditors as required
- Provision of UK quarterly instalment payment estimate workings and wider support with cash flow forecasting
- Providing support and tax accounting advice to stakeholders both in the wider Finance function and other functions.
- Maintain good relations with HMRC as the primary relationship holder for compliance matters
- Provision of support and development and learning opportunities to line report
- Support with Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) review and other tax governance requirements
- Lead on developing and embedding controls in tax compliance processes
To be considered for this position, you should be ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified with UK corporate tax and tax accounting experience. Excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential.

This opportunity offers £75,000-£80,000 base salary plus a discretionary bonus, and other benefits. The business has performed well and recent bonuses were paid out 200% against target. The finance team are based in central London 4 days a week.
Part-time candidates will be considered with a 4 day working pattern and will follow 3 day in-office working model.
