Overview

An established international organisation is seeking a Treasury Operations Analyst to join its Treasury team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of treasury and banking activities, supporting global cash management, banking operations, regulatory requirements, and process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and banking partners to ensure the efficient operation of treasury processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bank guarantees, including rental guarantees and performance bonds.
  • Prepare and review treasury reports and supporting documentation.
  • Support overseas funding and cash pooling activities.
  • Maintain interest rate records across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Monitor global banking charges and review bank control accounts.
  • Assist with daily cashflow management, bank reconciliations, and balance reporting.
  • Support sanctions screening, AML compliance, and tax reporting requirements.
  • Manage bank account administration, including account openings, closures, mandates, and online banking access.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Process payment authorisations and support payment workflows.
  • Assist with international payroll payments.
  • Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and banking contact information.
  • Contribute to treasury system enhancements and process improvement projects.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong treasury and banking operations experience.
  • Previous experience within a professional services, legal, or similarly regulated environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of client money regulations or comparable financial controls would be beneficial.
  • Experience working with multiple banking platforms and international banking structures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience using treasury management or financial systems would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to work.
