Treasury Analyst

Location: Central London (Hybrid – c. 3 days office)

Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum

Type: Permanent

A growing retail group in Central London is seeking a motivated Treasury Analyst to join its Group Finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual early in their finance career who is eager to develop specialist skills in treasury, cash management, and banking operations within a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring strong liquidity management, accurate daily cash operations, and robust banking controls, while supporting wider business initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update the daily cash position
  • Download MT940 statements and maintain FX rates
  • Support short-term cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
  • Create funding payments and manage treasury payment templates
  • Perform administrative tasks across online banking platforms
  • Maintain banking access, including user setup and leaver updates
  • Keep bank signatories and account records up to date
  • Ensure treasury activities follow internal controls and regulatory policies
  • Support KYC requests and banking documentation
  • Assist in preparing the monthly Treasury report pack
  • Complete month-end deliverables within deadlines
  • Manage the Treasury mailbox and respond to queries
  • Maintain legacy Points of Contact for counterparty banks

About You / Qualifications

  • Some previous finance experience (AP, AR, cash office or junior treasury desirable)
  • Ideally exposure to retail or consumer-facing environments
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Confident with Excel and eager to learn treasury systems
  • Detail-driven, organised and proactive
  • A growth mindset with ambition to develop within Treasury and Finance
