An established and growing professional services firm is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Transfer Pricing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including multinational groups, privately owned businesses, and high-growth organisations, providing strategic and technical transfer pricing advice. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex engagements, managing client relationships, and contributing to the continued development of the firm’s transfer pricing offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver transfer pricing projects, including:
- Documentation (Master File, Local File, CbCR)
- Transfer pricing policy design and implementation
- Benchmarking analyses and economic studies
- Permanent establishment and profit attribution work
- Provide technical advice on UK and international transfer pricing matters, including OECD guidelines and BEPS developments.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Oversee and review the work of junior team members, providing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
- Support partners and directors in business development activities, including:
- Preparing proposals and pitch materials
- Identifying cross-selling opportunities across service lines
- Contributing to marketing initiatives and thought leadership
- Collaborate with colleagues across tax and advisory teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Ensure all work is delivered to a high technical standard and in line with internal risk and compliance procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in transfer pricing within a professional services environment (practice or advisory).
- Strong technical knowledge of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD guidelines.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading engagements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in economic analysis and financial data interpretation.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring and developing team members.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in developing new business.
Qualifications
- ACA / ACCA / CTA / ADIT or equivalent (or working towards).
