Overview
Tax transformation project requires a Tax Transformation Consultant, who will have operated as a previous Head of Tax and is very comfortable in strategy development and change management.
I am delighted to be working with a company who are embarking on a tax transformation project to redefine how tax is managed and perceived across their operations. This is not just about compliance—it is about elevating tax as a strategic enabler of commercial success.
The project requires leading on the review, design, and implementation of a commercially focused tax operating model that supports efficient, optimised tax outcomes across all jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and redesign the Group’s tax operating model to align with strategic business goals.
- Lead tax optimisation initiatives.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and propose actionable improvements.
- Simplify and enhance European tax support processes to better serve core business activities.
- Oversee strategic tax planning for ventures, acquisitions, transformations, and restructurings.
- Review and refine global tax policies, including transfer pricing, to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Evaluate and restructure the tax team to ensure optimal resourcing and capability.
Qualifications / Experience
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in transforming tax operating models within complex, multi-country organisations and will be commercially and operationally minded. It is required to have strong leadership skills and experience navigating matrixed environments.
