Overview
Senior Consultant – In-house Tax at Brewer Morris
Our client is a global business searching for a Tax Reporting Manager to join the team in Birmingham.
As a Tax Reporting Manager, you will report to the Head of Tax and act as a business partner to the central service functions. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Oversight of UK corporate tax returns, including supporting information.
- Preparation of tax provisions for US GAAP group reporting including current and deferred tax position.
- Preparation of current & deferred tax notes in local statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Preparation of quarterly ETR forecasting tax model to Group.
- Assisting with international tax matters including transfer pricing, CFC regime, and double taxation regime.
- Completion of year end internal reporting packs.
- Develop relationships with the Finance teams across the UK offices.
To be considered for this position, you should be fully ACA, CTA, ATT, and/or ACCA qualified and have UK corporate tax and tax accounting experience. US GAAP experience is advantageous but not essential. You should be comfortable using tax software – the tax function uses Alphatax. You should also be eager to further develop your skills, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player.
Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship and is only open to candidates in the UK.
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £70,000 base plus bonus and a host of benefits. Part-time working over 4 days is also an option if that is your preferred working pattern. The tax team follow a hybrid pattern of 2-3 days in the office.
