Overview
Our client is a famous media company searching for a Tax Accountant or Senior Tax Accountant to join the established tax team in London.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly IFRS and year-end UK GAAP/IFRS statutory tax reporting for UK and European entities.
- Manage UK tax compliance, including tax return preparation and submission, HMRC liaison, and process improvements.
- Support European group companies with their tax compliance processes and internal controls.
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and country-by-country reporting obligations across the UK and Europe.
- Build strong relationships with business finance teams through regular communication and collaboration.
- Respond to ad-hoc tax queries from various business units.
- Assist with UK and European tax audits.
- Contribute to international tax planning and M&A activities.
Qualifications
ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. This role is open to both in-house professionals and candidates from a Big 4/Top 20 firm background. The hiring manager is looking for someone who is proactive, willing to take the lead on projects, and able to communicate effectively.
