Senior Tax Manager interim tax job in London requires a seasoned professional who is comfortable managing taxes beyond corporate tax for a 12‑month assignment. Reporting to the Head of Tax and working in a small, nimble tax team located in central London, the Senior Tax Manager will be the second most senior member of the team, utilising extensive experience across multiple tax areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support on tax strategy, risk management and compliance.
  • Oversee tax reporting and ensure accurate, timely filings across corporate tax, VAT and employment taxes.
  • Review and liaise with outsourced tax returns provider.
  • Manage corporate tax accounting, statutory disclosures and CIR calculations.
  • Liaise with HMRC.
  • Contribute to tax governance, controls and SAO processes.
  • Assist with transfer pricing, legislative changes and cross‑border tax matters.

Qualifications

  • UK corporate tax experience across advisory and compliance from large organisations.
  • Exposure to indirect taxes is an advantage.
