Reinsurance Reporting & Analytics Lead

Our client, a leading global insurer, is seeking a Head of Reporting & Analytics to join their EMEA finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-performing team that values both strategic thinking and operational excellence.
This role would suit either a commercially minded management accountant with the calibre to lead a small team and drive strategic insight, or an actuarial professional with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for data-led decision making.
We\’re looking for someone who thrives in the detail, can challenge results, and become the go-to person for reinsurance reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely reinsurance reporting and analytics across EMEA
- Manage and develop a small onshore/offshore team
- Present complex data clearly to senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Support cross-regional projects and strategic initiatives
- Maintain and enhance operational and SOX controls
- Act as deputy to the Head of Reinsurance Services and Run-off when required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing small teams in a hands-on capacity
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and challenge data
- Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and become a subject matter expert
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical solutions
- Understanding of systems, controls, and their limitations
- Background in insurance/reinsurance, ideally with accounting, actuarial, or BI experience
- Minimum 7 years\’ relevant experience in a complex, international business environment
