Our client is a PE-backed UK business searching for a Tax Accountant on a part-time basis in London. This successful business has quickly established itself as a main competitor in the sector.
As the Tax Accountant, you will report to the Group Tax Manager and assist with the following responsibilities:
- Preparing corporation tax compliance in Alphatax of 60 plus companies.
- Tax accounting and audit support, preparation of tax journals.
- Assist with the VAT returns.
- PAYE support such as ERS compliance, apprenticeship levy.
- Support with M&A activity and advisory work on an ad hoc basis.
This is a part-time working opportunity with flexibility around working hours and preferred days, and only one day in the central London office.
Ideally, you will be CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified with UK corporate tax compliance and tax accounting experience. Exposure to VAT compliance would also be advantageous but not essential.
Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship and is only open to UK residents.
In return, you will receive a salary of £50,000 for 3 days part-time (£83,333 full-time equivalent) plus bonus and a host of benefits.
