Our client is a famous media company searching for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the established tax team in London. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will report directly to the Tax Director and work alongside a supportive tax team.
- Prepare quarterly IFRS and year-end UK GAAP/IFRS statutory tax reporting for UK and European entities.
- Manage UK tax compliance, including tax return preparation and submission, HMRC liaison, and process improvements.
- Support European group companies with their tax compliance processes and internal controls.
- Build strong relationships with business finance teams through regular communication and collaboration.
- Respond to ad-hoc tax queries from various business units.
- Assist with UK and European tax audits.
- Contribute to international tax planning and M&A activities.
To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA or CTA qualified with corporate tax and tax accounting experience. The Tax Director is looking for someone who is proactive, willing to take the lead on projects, and able to communicate effectively.
This opportunity will pay £65,000-£80,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits. The team follow a hybrid of 2 days in the central London office.
