A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager with a specialism in Real Estate to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-quality portfolio of property-focused clients, including real estate investment structures, funds and corporate groups.

The role offers a blend of advisory and compliance work, with significant exposure to complex transactions and the opportunity to play a key role in developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the real estate tax offering.

As a Senior Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of real estate clients while supporting senior leadership on complex advisory matters. You will lead on transactional work, oversee the delivery of tax structuring and due diligence projects, and ensure high-quality compliance across a range of corporate clients.

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients within the real estate sector, acting as a primary point of contact
  • Lead the delivery of both tax advisory and compliance services
  • Oversee and review corporate tax compliance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Advise on a broad range of real estate tax matters, including:
    • Property acquisitions and disposals
    • Capital allowances and reliefs
    • Cross-border and international tax issues
  • Manage workflow, including delegation, WIP and billing responsibility
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, supporting technical development and career progression
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, networking and market engagement

You will work with a diverse range of real estate clients, including:

  • Property groups and investors
  • Real estate funds and partnerships
  • Corporate real estate businesses

Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax within a professional services environment
  • Strong background in real estate tax, including experience advising property businesses or funds
  • Proven track record of involvement in transactions, structuring or due diligence projects
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to apply this in a commercial context
  • Exposure to a high-quality and complex real estate client base
