I’m working with a genuinely standout private client team that offers something quite rare in the market – top-tier, complex advisory work within a close-knit, supportive, almost boutique-style environment. This is a role where you won’t be lost in a large hierarchy. Instead, you’ll be working directly with highly experienced partners on intellectually challenging projects for some of the UK’s most sophisticated private clients – all while being part of a firm that prioritises collaboration, flexibility, and a strong team ethos. If you’re looking to elevate the level of work you’re doing without sacrificing culture, balance, or enjoyment of the job, this is exactly that sweet spot.

The Role

You’ll sit very close to the partners, playing a key part in delivering high-level advice to HNWIs, UHNWIs, and family groups. What makes this role particularly attractive is the blend of complex advisory work alongside a manageable compliance portfolio – giving you full visibility of client outcomes and ensuring your advice is implemented in practice. This isn’t a siloed role. You’ll be deeply involved in shaping advice, influencing client strategy, and seeing projects through end-to-end.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to HNWIs, UHNWIs, and family groups on a broad spectrum of UK private client tax matters
  • Delivering sophisticated planning advice across income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trusts
  • Getting involved in international matters, including TRF / FIG regimes and cross-border considerations
  • Overseeing complex personal and trust compliance – ensuring advisory work is executed seamlessly
  • Reviewing and elevating the technical work of junior team members
  • Coaching and developing managers and juniors within a genuinely supportive environment
  • Working alongside partners on key client relationships and contributing to business development

You’ll ideally be:

  • CTA and/or ACA qualified
  • Technically strong, with a real interest in complex private client work
  • Someone who enjoys collaboration and wants to keep learning directly from approachable, high-calibre partners

Why This Role Stands Out

  • High-calibre work without the corporate feel – genuinely complex, rewarding projects in a more personal environment
  • Partner access – real exposure, real learning, and real influence
  • Family-feel culture – supportive, collaborative, and low-ego
  • Career progression that feels natural – not forced or political
  • Strong package – competitive salary, bonus, and benefits

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However, we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role. Please note that your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
