Legal e Biller to join their established Business Finance team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a billing professional with strong e-billing expertise to join a highly regarded international firm, working within a collaborative finance function that supports a complex and prestigious client portfolio across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing electronic billing processes, ensuring the accurate and timely submission of invoices, maintaining client billing requirements across numerous e-billing platforms, and acting as a trusted liaison between finance, legal teams, IT and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit PDF and LEDES invoices through a range of third-party e-billing platforms.
  • Maintain and update client billing information across various e-billing intermediaries.
  • Upload and manage timekeeper data and billing rates across multiple systems.
  • Review and implement client-specific e-billing requirements and guidelines.
  • Act as a key point of contact between fee earners, finance teams, IT, clients, and external e-billing providers.
  • Ensure invoices are raised accurately, submitted within agreed service levels, and processed efficiently to facilitate prompt payment.
  • Draft and review bills for approval.
  • Process billing amendments including transfers, write-offs, cancellations and reissues.
  • Reconcile billing information internally and across third-party billing platforms.
  • Assist with debtor management activities, including client correspondence and payment follow-up.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide first-line support to billing, finance, and fee-earning teams on e-billing matters.
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions around e-billing processes, requirements and improvements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • At least
  • 3 years’ experience within a legal e-billing role
  • Strong knowledge of major third-party e-billing platforms and intermediaries.
  • Experience with

(preferred but not essential).

  • A solid understanding of legal billing, revenue and collections processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret billing and revenue data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to tight deadlines.
