Tax Director interim tax job in London requires a Head of Tax who is immediately available for this interim Tax Director/Head of Tax job. Joining an international business and focusing on the UK arm but with some international reach, the Tax Director will report to the business line CFO and manage a team of 3 direct reports and 6 indirect reports.

The interim Head of Tax is to cover for a permanent vacancy and has an expected minimum duration of 4 months and a maximum duration of 6 months, with the position commencing in early/mid June.

Aside from the day-to-day people management and tax management of compliance and business queries, the key focus points over the interim role are to:

  • Work on a business risk review
  • Take a lean into the customs and indirect tax issues of the business
  • Work on any acquisitions
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role it is essential to have previous Head of Tax experience which has involved people management, and a breadth of tax coverage including corporate tax, indirect tax and employment tax. You will also be immediately available or very soon to be available and can commit to the duration of the role.
