Key Responsibilities
  • Real Estate VAT Advisory – Act as a trusted advisor to multinational real estate investors, developers, asset managers, and funds on complex VAT matters across the UK and EU.
  • Client Leadership – Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders including CFOs, Heads of Tax, and Investment Directors.
  • Engagement Delivery – Lead high-impact indirect tax engagements across the real estate lifecycle (acquisitions, disposals, developments, leasing, fund structuring).
  • Business Development – Originate new opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and contribute to the growth of the European real estate tax practice.
  • Cross-Border Coordination – Collaborate with colleagues across Europe and globally to deliver integrated tax solutions.
  • VAT Compliance Oversight – Oversee VAT registrations, returns, refund claims, and compliance processes for real estate structures and SPVs.
  • Process & Controls Review – Review AP/AR processes, business workflows, and tax controls for real estate portfolios.
  • Tax Technology Collaboration – Work with tax technology teams to enhance automation, reporting, and data quality.
