A rare opportunity for an Employment Tax Manager to join the in‐house tax team of a well known organisation. This is a 12‐14 month fixed‐term contract covering maternity leave. This role offers genuine flexibility, ideal for someone looking to make an impact while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
You will be the go‐to advisor for all employment tax matters, including:
- PSA and P11D reporting
- Advising on termination payments
- IR35 assessments and guidance
- Payroll and NMW queries
- CIS compliance support
- Conducting risk and control reviews for SAO obligations
- Supporting implementation of payrolling Benefits‐in‐Kind
- Liaising with HMRC and external advisors
- Providing employment tax input on M&A projects
To succeed, you will need:
- Extensive experience in a broad range of UK employment taxes issues
- Knowledge of HMRC audits, disclosures and settlements
- Strong communication skills to decode complex tax technical matters
- Ability to start late February‐mid March
- Ability to travel to London and elsewhere approximately every other week
