A global real estate business is looking for a senior finance leader to take ownership of its financial reporting, close processes, and control environment across a complex, multi-entity structure. This is a high-impact role, sitting at the centre of finance operations. You will oversee the end-to-end reporting cycle, ensuring financial results are accurate, timely, and well-controlled. Alongside leading a team, you’ll play a key role in shaping processes, strengthening governance, and driving consistency across the finance function. This role offers a blend of leadership, technical oversight, and transformation ideal for someone who enjoys both managing teams and improving how things work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the financial close and reporting cycle across multiple entities
  • Ensure a strong and reliable control environment and balance sheet integrity
  • Oversee statutory reporting and external audit interactions
  • Subject matter expert for all technical accounting matters
  • Partner with commercial and FP&A teams to support performance reporting and decision-making
  • Drive improvements to process efficiency, consistency, and quality of reporting
  • Lead initiatives around automation, systems, and standardisation
  • Manage and develop a large team of finance professionals
  • Work closely with senior leadership, including the Group Financial Controller and CFO

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post qualified experience
  • Audit background strong preference
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, close, or financial control leadership roles
  • Background in complex, multi-entity environments, real estate / LLP highly desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Experience leading teams and driving performance
  • Confident communicator, comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outputs
  • Proficient with Excel and strong systems awareness, including exposure to ERP and reporting tools
