Brewer Morris is proud to be exclusively retained by a multi-billion-dollar international single-family office seeking to make their first strategic hire in Accounting and Finance. This newly created role will lead the finance and treasury operations, offering a rare opportunity to shape the financial infrastructure of a globally respected organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance and treasury function, driving process development, optimisation, and automation.
  • Manage financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Analyse historical and projected costs across the family office, identifying opportunities and advising senior leadership.
  • Oversee treasury operations and banking relationships, ensuring optimal liquidity management.
  • Supervise and execute payments related to both family office operations and portfolio activities.
  • Coordinate with tax and legal advisors to ensure compliance and effective risk management across jurisdictions.
  • Act as a key liaison to UBOs, external advisers, and financial institutions, handling sensitive information with discretion.

About You

  • ACA-qualified (or equivalent), ideally with Big 4 (or similar) training.
  • Experienced across asset classes and comfortable with the full finance controller scope: oversight, reporting, treasury, FP&A, forecasting, and strategic input.
  • Some experience managing small teams is a plus, but just as important is a willingness to be hands-on - this is a lean structure, and you'll be expected to roll up your sleeves.
  • Exposure to FCA regulation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional finance and tax matters is important.
  • Likely suited to someone earlier in their career who's looking to grow - not necessarily at CFO or Head of level, but with the technical depth and ambition to develop.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to take ownership with a clear, pleasant communication style. You're comfortable handling everything from straightforward tasks to complex challenges independently.
