We have partnered with a prominent UK business to search for a Direct Tax Manager to join the tax team in London. This is a newly created position which will see you report to the Senior Tax Manager and play a key role in the Tax Compliance and Reporting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of global corporate tax compliance, including tax computations, returns and filings, quarterly tax payments, CT61s, and tax enquiries.
- Assist in forecasting and managing the Group's Effective Tax Rate and cash tax position, including maintaining the tax forecasting model and modelling the impact of business changes.
- Prepare half-year and full-year consolidated group tax reporting under IFRS, along with tax notes for stand-alone statutory financial statements, and liaise with external auditors by providing supporting documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Assist with Pillar 2 tax calculations and compliance.
Qualifications
- ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified with 5-7 years of UK corporate tax experience.
- Eager to further develop skills, excellent communication abilities, and a team player.
- Must be based in the UK – no visa sponsorship available.
Benefits
- Salary £80,000-£90,000 base, a 20% discretionary bonus, and a host of benefits.
- The tax team follows a hybrid pattern of 1 day in the office.
