This global, FTSE 100 group, with over 300 companies in over 40 countries, has an opening for a Corporate Tax Consultant to join the business on a Fixed Term Contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate tax compliance and risk management
  • Preparation of a proportion of the UK corporation tax returns for the UK entities
  • Assistance in dealing with all aspects of HMRC corporation tax enquiries
  • Assistance with ancillary compliance activities, for example supporting the businesses with R&D claims, capital allowance claims, CFC calculations, corporate interest restriction and transfer pricing support
  • Assistance in the implementation of technology in the tax compliance process
  • Involvement in group tax reporting cycles, including: Year-end process and preparation of the tax disclosures for the group consolidated accounts under IFRS
  • Assisting with other tax team projects, for example Pillar 2 compliance, country-by-country reporting
  • Providing tax advice for M&A projects

Qualifications

  • Suitable candidates must have good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to build working relationships with the various businesses which make up the group, advisers, HMRC and the rest of the tax team.
  • You will be organised and able to self-manage workload without constant supervision.

This role offers hybrid working in an extremely collaborative team. Candidates will be available to start the role in September (or earlier if preferred).
