I am working with a top accountancy firm looking to strengthen its London Audit team with an Assistant Manager. This role will be within their high-performing Technology and Media team following the firm’s sustained growth and ambitious plans for the future. They are a highly reputable, internationally recognised brand and partner with prestigious, listed clients across the property and infrastructure space. The audit engagements here are often complex and technically challenging, covering a diverse range of projects including commercial property portfolios, residential developments, and large-scale construction ventures.
Based near the centre of City of London, you’ll be joining a global, highly-regarded brand that carries a strong national and international presence. Responsibilities- Understand assignment budgets and objectives to assist with planning and pre-assignment discussions
- Take an active role in delegating work, training juniors, and reviewing outputs
- Execute assignments to the expected high standard, demonstrating adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
- Enhance client-facing responsibilities by advising, responding to queries, and liaising with senior management
- Manage reporting and follow-up at the final stages of the audit process
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience in a UK practice environment
- Exposure to large, complex engagements
- Previous experience auditing UK listed clients within technology and media
