Our client, a leading FTSE business, is looking for a technically astute Group Accountant to join their dynamic team. The role requires an individual to prepare statutory accounts.
About the role:
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of group financial reports to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements across the group.
- Prepare documentation and provide support for regulatory audits and inspections.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide support on IFRS16 accounting and the Groupβs lease management system, helping train new users as appropriate.
- Provide adhoc technical accounting advice and support the wider business.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA.
- Technically strong with in-depth IFRS knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP β OneStream highly advantageous.
The client operates a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 3 days from home. Candidates should be available at short notice.
