We have exclusively partnered with a fantastic REIT in their search for an Interim Financial Accountant. The successful incumbent will oversee financial reporting, capital activity, and operational accounting across a portfolio of real estate joint ventures and development entities. This role is well suited to a qualified accountant who is comfortable managing complex fund flows, working with external partners, and supporting a broad range of internal teams. A strong eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual partnership financial statements in line with FRS 102 and IFRS (US GAAP exposure beneficial).
  • Manage the flow of financial information between operating partners, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform monthly data uploads and reconciliations of operating partners submissions within Yardi.
  • Review operator financial reports, conducting variance analysis and investigating discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain supporting workpapers and execute monthly internal control procedures.
  • Consolidate financial and operational data for reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
