Our client is a fast-scaling fintech business growing its tax function and searching for a Global Tax Manager to join the London office.
As a Global Tax Manager, you will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the CFO. The tax function continues to grow across different tax disciplines as the business continues to expand its operations across jurisdictions.
A few of your key responsibilities include:
- Manage the end-to-end tax compliance process for the group's global entities, coordinating with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings across all jurisdictions.
- Own the relationship with outsourced tax compliance providers — setting clear scopes, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality and consistency across regions.
- Support the preparation of tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures for statutory accounts and group reporting.
- Prepare and maintain current and deferred tax reconciliations and monitor effective tax rates across the group.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors on compliance queries, audits, and ad-hoc filings.
- Ensure tax compliance requirements are in place for new entities and products, liaising with launch owners to embed tax processes from the start.
- Contribute to tax projects across the group, such as transfer pricing documentation, group restructurings, or assessments of legislative change.
- Help develop and improve internal tax processes, controls, and reporting as the function matures.
- Stay across tax developments in the group's key jurisdictions and feed these into the team's wider planning.
To be considered for this position, you should be ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified with international tax and tax accounting (ideally US GAAP) experience. Excellent project management skills, the ability to communicate and liaise with key stakeholders are essential and driven to continuously improve.

This opportunity offers £85,000-£100,000 base salary plus stock options and other benefits. The finance team are in the office 3 days a week.
