An established UK investment management business is seeking a Fund Finance Manager to join its finance team on a part-time basis, working approximately three days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund finance professional looking for flexibility or perhaps returning to work - involved in an interesting business looking for support with establishing core financial operations and improving processes / looking to automate. The business is open to candidates working predominantly remotely, provided they are able to travel to the London office occasionally for key meetings and business requirements. The role is also offered on a hybrid basis for those who prefer a combination of home and office working.
The role will be paying £45,000 - £60,000 for 3 days per week. (Equivalent to £65,000 - £100,000 for a full time per annum salary).
The Role
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of reviewing reporting from the fund administrators for three funds as well as production of management accounts. Review accurate NAVs. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, fund oversight, investor reporting and business support, providing insightful analysis to support decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversight and preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Fund and portfolio reporting, including performance analysis and investor reporting
- Review NAV accounting provided by outsourced administrators.
- Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
- Supporting audits, regulatory reporting and financial controls
- Producing financial analysis and reporting packs for senior stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation and operational efficiency
- Working closely with the leadership team on a variety of finance and commercial projects
Required qualifications, skills and experience.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong fund finance, investment management, private capital, asset management or financial services experience
- Experienced producing and reviewing NAVs.
- Experienced in financial reporting, fund structures and stakeholder management
- Commercially minded with analytical capability
- Ability to operate independently and manage priorities effectively in a flexible working environment
- Comfortable working in a growing business where responsibilities can be broad and varied
