A market-leading global business is seeking an experienced FP&A Advisor to support its executive leadership team and Board in understanding performance, risk and value creation across a complex international organisation.

This is a highly visible role operating at the centre of business performance. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will own Board-level reporting and insight, helping leaders make better strategic decisions through clear, actionable financial and commercial analysis.

The role requires someone who is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, bringing both intellectual rigour and executive presence. You will be expected to challenge constructively, influence confidently and translate complex financial information into meaningful business narratives.

This opportunity would particularly suit candidates who have operated within private equity-backed environments, highly performance-focused organisations, or businesses where value creation and accountability are central to decision making.

What you will be doing:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and Board stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of monthly, quarterly and annual Board reporting packs.
  • Deliver insightful analysis on financial and operational performance, highlighting risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
  • Provide clear commentary on performance against budget, forecast and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators and value creation metrics.
  • Support long-range planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making.
  • Work across global teams and functions to understand the drivers of performance and future opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with finance, strategy and business leaders to provide decision-ready insight.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 10+ years’ experience across FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles.
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership teams, Boards or senior decision makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to move beyond reporting and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of performance management, forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within a private equity environment or exposure to PE-style performance disciplines would be highly advantageous.
  • Gravitas, resilience and the ability to operate effectively under pressure in a global environment.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and business intelligence skills.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level of a major international business. You’ll partner directly with senior leaders, helping shape strategic direction through commercially focused financial insight and performance analysis.

Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However, we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

Please note that your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
