A well-established organisation with a global footprint is seeking an interim Management Accountant to join its central finance function. This role offers exposure to a diverse property and investment portfolio across the UK and is ideal for qualified professionals looking to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative finance team.
Location: London (Hybrid) - 3 days office | 2 days home.
This role will support the financial accounting manager and wider team of management accountants with reconciliations and provide year end support.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities (prepayments, accruals, fixed asset register)
- Preparing and delivering monthly bank reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving unreconciled items in collaboration with operational finance teams
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
- Assisting with VAT returns and liaising with joint venture partners
- Preparing cash summaries for external auditors
- Supporting the delivery of statutory accounts and audit processes
- Contributing to ad hoc financial reporting and wider finance projects
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory accounts
- Comfortable working independently and delivering to tight deadlines
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (experience with Yardi, OneStream, or CaseWare is a plus)
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to work across teams
