We have exclusively partnered with a prominent UK business to search for a Direct Tax Manager to join the tax team in London. This is a newly created position which will see you report to the Senior Tax Manager and play a key role in the Tax Compliance and Reporting team.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of global corporate tax compliance, including tax computations, returns and filings, quarterly tax payments, CT61s, and tax enquiries.
- Assist in forecasting and managing the Group's Effective Tax Rate and cash tax position, including maintaining the tax forecasting model and modelling the impact of business changes.
- Prepare half-year and full-year consolidated group tax reporting under IFRS, along with tax notes for stand-alone statutory financial statements, and liaise with external auditors by providing supporting documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Assist with Pillar 2 tax calculations and compliance.
Ideally, you will be ACCA, ACA, and/or CTA qualified with 3 years of UK corporate tax experience. This role will allow you to develop your knowledge in other areas of tax with the support of the team. You should also be eager to further develop your skills, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player.
Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship and is only open to candidates in the UK. In return, you will receive a salary of £65,000-£75,000 base, a 20% discretionary bonus, and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a hybrid pattern of 1 day in the office.
