Responsibilities

- Manage interactions with tax authorities and support on audits or enquiries
- Strengthen governance, controls and risk management frameworks within indirect tax
- Identify and implement process improvements, including opportunities for automation and better use of technology
- Partner with teams across finance, operations and IT to ensure indirect tax is effectively embedded within business processes
Requirements
- Relevant accounting or tax qualification
- Strong experience in indirect tax, ideally within a multinational or large corporate environment
- Solid technical knowledge of VAT, particularly UK and European regimes; wider international exposure is beneficial
- Experience managing compliance processes and reviewing filings across multiple entities
- Exposure to advisory work, including supporting projects, transactions or tax disputes
- Proven ability to improve processes and implement controls within a tax or finance function
- Experience working with ERP systems and tax technology tools; familiarity with data/automation tools is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across different functions and regions
