Our Transfer Pricing practice is recognised in the marketplace for its technical excellence and forms an integral part of a global network of specialists. We work with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them navigate increasingly complex international tax challenges while aligning transfer pricing strategies with their broader commercial objectives.
Due to continued growth and internal promotions, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, developing our people, and supporting the future growth of our Transfer Pricing practice.
The Opportunity
You will work with a broad range of clients including large privately owned businesses, high-growth entrepreneurial companies, well-established FTSE 250 organisations, and international groups expanding into the UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise, client leadership, project management, and business development within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical transfer pricing advice to clients across a wide range of sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact.
- Lead the delivery of multiple transfer pricing engagements, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
- Manage multi-jurisdictional projects and coordinate with international teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Work closely with specialists across transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax, and advisory teams.
- Oversee financial management of engagements including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and profitability.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members through ongoing support, training, and performance development.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership.
- Drive business development activities, identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships and secure new work.
- Contribute to market initiatives, thought leadership, and proposition development.
- Support the continued growth and success of the Transfer Pricing practice.
About You
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA qualification, or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Significant transfer pricing experience gained within a professional services firm, in-house tax function, or specialist advisory environment.
- Strong experience preparing transfer pricing documentation, value chain analyses, benchmarking studies, and supporting tax authority enquiries and Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing junior professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial approach to client service.
- Strong relationship-building and business development capabilities.
- Sound judgement and risk awareness, with the ability to identify key issues and elevate appropriately.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and positive approach with a genuine passion for client service.
