Brewer Morris are partnering with a leading international law firm to appoint an experienced Pricing Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Pricing Manager to play a key role in shaping and evolving pricing strategy within a sophisticated, partnership-led environment., based in London.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and Partners, the Pricing Manager will support a broad range of pricing initiatives across complex client relationships. The role offers significant visibility and influence, providing commercial insight and strategic guidance that directly supports profitability, client retention, and business growth.

As the organisation continues its transition towards more sophisticated commercial models, there is a growing focus on value-based pricing strategies alongside a substantial portfolio of traditional hourly-billed work. We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who can confidently influence senior stakeholders, articulate commercial value propositions, and help drive the adoption of innovative pricing approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and implement pricing strategies that support commercial objectives and profitability.
  • Lead pricing and commercial discussions relating to client engagements, panel arrangements, and alternative fee structures.
  • Build robust financial models and pricing scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver commercial analysis and recommendations around margin, recovery, utilisation, and client profitability.
  • Support governance and approval processes for complex pricing arrangements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across pricing processes, reporting, and tools.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to Partners and business leaders, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Contribute to the education and development of stakeholders on evolving pricing methodologies and best practices.

About You

  • Proven experience within a Pricing, Commercial Finance or Profitability function.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior leadership.
  • Experience presenting commercial recommendations within a partnership or professional services environment.
  • A proactive and commercially curious approach, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive change.

The ideal candidate will currently be operating within the legal sector, preferably in a larger international law firm where they have gained exposure to complex client pricing arrangements and Partner-led decision-making.

However, we are also keen to hear from candidates from other professional services environments, including consulting, accountancy, and related partnership-based organisations, provided they have a strong understanding of:

  • Partnership culture and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Time-based billing models and utilisation metrics.
  • Fee negotiation and client pricing strategies.
  • The evolution from traditional hourly pricing towards value-based and alternative fee arrangements.

Why Apply?

This is a highly visible role offering genuine strategic influence within a progressive, international organisation. It will suit an ambitious pricing professional who enjoys operating as a trusted commercial adviser and wants to help shape the future direction of pricing within a complex professional services environment.
