Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of CASS audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Lead risk assessments and evaluate key CASS controls
- Review client money, custody asset and safeguarding arrangements
- Design and review substantive, analytical and controls-based testing
- Prepare and review reports, findings and audit documentation
- Act as a key contact for clients, building trusted relationships
- Coach, mentor and develop junior team members
- Monitor budgets, deadlines and engagement profitability
- Identify opportunities to add value and support business development activities
- Stay current with FCA regulations, CASS requirements and industry developments
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Current Audit Manager or experienced Assistant Manager seeking progression
- Proven CASS audit experience, particularly CASS 6, 7 and 8
- Good understanding of FCA CASS rules and safeguarding requirements
- Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge
- Experience managing teams and reviewing work
- Commercially aware with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised and committed to delivering high-quality client service
