Business Tax Manager – Owner Managed Businesses
Location: Crawley
An established and forward-thinking top Mid-tier firm is seeking a Business Tax Manager to join its expanding corporate tax team, supporting a newly launched office in Crawley. The Role
As Business Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of Owner Managed Businesses, delivering both compliance and advisory services. You’ll work closely with clients to support their growth, succession planning, and strategic tax decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage UK corporate tax compliance cycles for a portfolio of OMBs
- Deliver advisory work on group restructuring, profit extraction, succession planning, and employee incentivisation
- Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to client proposals
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training and development
- Participate in the firm’s business tax working group, helping shape future service delivery and growth strategy
Candidate Profile
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience managing corporate tax compliance and advisory projects
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation affecting Owner Managed Businesses
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members
