The Role
We are recruiting an Assistant Manager to join a growing Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) Tax team based in London. This role sits within a wider Financial Services Tax practice and offers exposure to complex, high‑profile UK and international clients across the alternative investment landscape.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality advisory and compliance services, working closely with Partners, Directors and Managers while continuing to build your technical expertise and client‑facing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience in funds tax within a supportive, high‑performing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver technically robust and commercially focused tax advisory and compliance services to UK and multinational alternative investment clients.
Work on a broad range of matters including fund structuring, international tax planning, corporate transactions and ongoing tax compliance.
Support clients with local and overseas tax considerations, operational tax risk and evolving regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor within engagement teams.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider Financial Services and Corporate Tax teams.
Contribute to the development of junior team members and support the overall growth of the practice.

Candidate Profile
CTA or ACA qualified (or international equivalent), or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Strong grounding in corporate tax principles.
Previous experience within financial services or funds tax is desirable, but not essential.
Background in corporate, business or owner‑managed business tax teams welcomed.
Commercially minded, client‑focused and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment.
Motivated to develop technical expertise, client relationships and leadership skills.
