About The Role

JOB PURPOSE: The training coordinator is responsible for the preparation, structure and upkeep of our training documentation and systems. This individual will play a key role in ensuring we are providing the level and depth of instruction to our team, as well as leading on supporting digital transformation to new ways of working. They will be capable of delivering training if required, but the primary role will be to ensure documents / systems / matrices and schedules are all harmonised and allow the team to deliver peer to peer training, self-learning or classroom instruction as required. This role is a 12-month contract role, ensuring all documents and systems are setup for the short and long term within Ellon.

Key Result Area / Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Create and update training materials for all brewery processes, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure the training of new hires and provide ongoing development for production staff, ensuring proficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure documents are transitioned into new systems.
  • Ensure access to systems is suitable, at point of use and straightforward.
  • Plan resource to facilitate training with minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Audit training progress and competency, provide feedback, and offer additional training as needed.
  • Work with all teams to align training with best practices.
  • Maintain records of training activities and report on progress and areas for improvement.

About You

HEALTH & SAFETY GENERAL: Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines always adhered to. Comply with safe working practices as defined by BrewDog. Complete online or face to face training as and when required. Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work. Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable. Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times. Take part in crew reviews throughout the year. Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors. Attend training courses and complete online training modules as required to meet the requirements of the role. Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills. Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business. Apply the BrewDog charter and behaviours to every aspect of the role at all times. Protect and enhance the interests and reputation of BrewDog internally and externally.

CRITERIA

Essential QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFIC TRAINING: None essential.

Experience: Experience working across all common word processing and Microsoft packages. Used to scheduling and organising events / teams. Time spent working in an industrial / factory environment previously would be a plus. Proven experience with document control processes would be advantageous but not essential.

KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of training documentation. Knowledge of a factory environment and all safety / quality processes that go with this. Knowledge of visual management a plus.

Skills: Strong administrator, able to work across all Microsoft platforms effectively and update documentation quickly and accurately. Capable of communicating orally and through written form. Good organizational skills to ensure workflows are prioritised appropriately and delegated where required.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Organised. Capable of working alone. Succinct in written form.
