About The Role:
We at BrewDog have one mission. We want to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. Our bars are at the forefront of that mission, delivering amazing beer and customer service at all times. We’re looking for two UK Sales Executives to join the UK team.
In this role you’ll support the UK Head of Sales in managing incoming event and booking enquiries for BrewDog bars across the UK. You’ll be part of an experienced sales team working with other Sales Executives to successfully convert incoming enquiries through building rapport with each guest to understand their requirements, creating bespoke packages and proposals, and upselling. You will also be tasked with collecting payments and pre-orders on time, as well as identifying any special requirements and clearly marking these on every booking.
The role will also include the organisation of large upcoming events in BrewDog bars across the UK, through completing detailed handovers and liaising with kitchen and front of house teams. To ensure that only the most appropriate bookings are confirmed for each individual venue, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a venue database full of detailed information about all of the bar's capacities and capabilities.
There is a proactive element to the UK Sales Executive position, which will include reaching out to previous large events and upselling to auto confirmed bookings, amongst other tasks for specific bars.
About You:
Qualifications & Specific Training:
- GCSEs or equivalent, ideally with further education in hospitality, events, or sales.
- Experience in sales, event coordination, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing event logistics.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to events, including capacity management and fire safety.
Specific Training:
- Training in sales techniques, customer relationship management, and upselling.
- Event planning and logistics training, including managing timelines and troubleshooting on the day.
- Risk assessment training and understanding of fire safety and capacity regulations.
Experience:
- Proven success in driving sales and securing new event bookings.
- Experience in organizing and managing events, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Skilled in building relationships with clients and delivering a high-quality guest experience.
- Experience in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance.
- Familiarity with event marketing strategies and promotion through digital and in-venue channels.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of sales techniques, customer acquisition, and lead generation.
- Understanding of best practices in event management and guest service.
- Competence in budgeting, pricing, and cost control for events.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations specific to events and capacity management.
Skills:
- Ability to close sales and effectively negotiate contracts.
- Strong organizational skills to plan and execute events from start to finish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, essential for client relations and internal coordination.
- Skilled at addressing and resolving issues promptly, particularly under pressure during events.
