About The Role
Job Purpose: The procurement manager ensures high quality supply of a range of goods and services at BrewDog. Influencing procurement and supply strategy for products and services controlled, to ensure that strategies reflect best value goals.
Key Result Area / Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of a portfolio of suppliers with an overall spend of c25mpa.
- Develop and drive BrewDog’s supplier development program delivering best in class supplier performance.
- Negotiation of key contracts ensuring appropriate contract documentation is in place.
- Engage key stakeholders at all levels in driving performance and cost improvement benefits.
- Achieve agreed objectives including cost reduction, cost saving and business benefit targets.
- Ensure that all purchasing is consistent with all Health and Safety and Environmental law and all other relevant legislation.
- Support the Head of Procurement in identifying and developing business processes and KPI’s.
Key Relationships - Internal & External:
- Internal across Retail and Operational business.
- External contacts: Supplier CEO’s, Supplier Finance Directors, Supplier Commercial Directors.
Health & Safety: Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines and fire regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
General: Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times. Take part in crew reviews throughout the year. Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors.
About You
Qualifications & Specific Training: CIPS Qualification is desirable, Degree or equivalent academic qualification.
Experience: Substantial in a similar role, Detailed knowledge of category management, Demonstrable project management skills.
Skills: High level emotional intelligence, strongly assertive, Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with the ability to bring positive energy and focus to peers & subordinates. Confident and high self-esteem.
