About The Role

Job Purpose

As part of a maintenance team, responsible for the safe and efficient execution of planned and reactive maintenance, including minor projects on campus production equipment and Biogas facility.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain product safety and quality standards.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance, record findings in CMMS.
  • Troubleshoot and implement improvements on equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Analyze equipment condition, identify issues, and rectify them.
  • Manage breakdowns to minimize downtime and find root causes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Complete safety and technical training as part of personal development.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Emergency response team member.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply automation, mechanical, or electrical isolations.
  • Update CMMS data and documentation.
  • Engage in improvement projects.
  • Manage contractors and vendors.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Assist packaging and brewing teams during operations.

About You

  • Apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years in FMCG maintenance or similar post-apprenticeship role.
  • Fluent in English, proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings like P&ID’s and data sheets.
  • Troubleshooting skills and quick thinking.
