About The Role

Job Purpose: The Field Sales Manager is responsible for growing the net distribution of BrewDog brands across their designated geographical area and delivering in line with sales targets and company objectives. The role is responsible for the leadership of their team to engage effectively across Independent Free Trade and Leased & Tenanted accounts. They are responsible for the coaching, management and leadership of 6 direct reports including Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers. This role will suit someone based commutable to London.

Key Result Area / Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, coach and develop an exceptional team of 6 field based Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers.
  • Develop and deliver an effective sales and account management strategy within Field Sales to enable your team to achieve in line with their KPI’s.
  • Create a clear set of KPIs for the RSM’s & BDM’s, developing a reporting suite to enable regular monitoring of performance, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Implement clear process to enhance performance to ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Work cross functionally with Route to Market Key Account Managers and Route to Market Wholesalers to build robust relationships that ensure that business is developed and maintained across our key brands.
  • Regularly review data and reporting to understand the performance of the business, developing action plans to maximise strengths within the team and improve performance where objectives are not being met.
  • Work with stakeholders across the wider business to explore and exploit potential business opportunities to deliver in line with targets and objectives.

Complete online or face to face training as and when required. Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by acts or omissions at work. Report any accidents, incidents or near misses as soon as reasonably practicable.

General: Be aware of and adhere to BrewDog policies and the Workplace Code at all times. Take part in crew reviews throughout the year. Cooperate with other BrewDog departments to achieve a great experience for our customers, applicants, colleagues, and contractors. Attend training courses and complete online training modules as required to meet the requirements of the role. Take responsibility for own personal development, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills. Undertake any other duties as requested which are reasonably deemed to be within the scope of the role or necessary for the smooth running of the business. Apply the BrewDog charter and behaviours to every aspect of the role at all times. Protect and enhance the interests and reputation of BrewDog internally and externally.

  • Significant experience of developing and executing effective sales and account management strategies.
